Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any cost for my initial property inspection?

There is NO Charge for the property inspection. Our certified Project Managers will schedule a time with you to inspect the property, they will complete a thorough inspection and walk you through the process from that point forward based on what they find during the inspection.

My roof has extensive storm damage, what is my next step?

Once we have determined that you have storm damage to your roof it is then time to contact your insurance company. All you need to do is let them know that you have damage and are concerned that you might have problems in the future. They will then assign an adjuster as well as a date and time for their inspection. Let us know when that is so that we can make sure our Certified Project Manager is there to meet with the adjuster. We will walk you through the process step by step from that point forward.

When hiring a contractor to do my project, what should I be most concerned about?

Make sure your contractor is local! This is of the utmost importance for various reasons. You want to make sure that your contractor is around after your project is finished, this will ensure that your warranty is valid and any problems that you have will be handled properly. Make sure your contractor has the proper insurance and a physical office that they operate out of. Avoiding the fly-by-night contractors at all costs will eliminate numerous problems for you in the future.

Will my insurance rates go up because I file a claim?

This is a common misconception with homeowners. Your insurance rates do not directly increase because you file a claim for storm damage. Catastrophic storms are considered acts of god and not considered the homeowner’s fault. Therefore the insurance company cannot raise the policyholder’s rates for filing a claim for this particular occurrence.
